Particular Places @ the Creative Arts Workshop

I recently took a trip out to New Haven, CT to check out Yale and to see the show that I'm in entitled Particular Places. She show was juried by Yale professor Bernard Chaet. The Creative Arts Workshop is run much like the BBAC in that it's not only a gallery but a learning facility as well. The show hadn't opened yet but the lady working the gallery was nice enough to show me around and let me preview the show.

Mine are the 2 on the left.

I don't really remember any of the artists names, but the work came from all over the country, so they weren't just local artists. A pretty good show though, I am glad to be a part of it. And quite a nice space.

New studio, new work.

I have succesfully moved back into my Mom's place in Lake Orion. My Mom is nice enough to once again allow me to take over the garage as my studio for the summer.

These are 13 8x8" paintings in progress that are part of my "Embrace" series. And a portrait commision that is also in progress, and photos for my other portrait commision that I'm working on.

This old door has been serving me quite well as a pallette/work table.

new large abstract on unstretched canvas...in progress.
More to come of new work.
